Exquisite Vietnam – Sapa/ Halong Bay/ Phu Quoc Island 11 Days

Upon arrival, your driver will meet and greet you at the airport. Enjoy a transfer from the airport to your accommodation. Check-in at the hotel and have a rest after the flight. Overnight in Hanoi.

Pick you up at 11:30 am, our tourgudide will come to your hotel and start the Hanoi Food Tours. On a 3 hours walking tour you’ll explore the culture, history of Hanoi, step into a world full of street food vendors. Unlike big cities all around the world, street food in Hanoi are not just hot dog carts and pretzel stands, we offer an opportunity to try out many different dishes at local food stand, family restaurants…

A rotating menu from day-to-day to represent the variety of delicious options, but tastings might include – but are subject to change: rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodle with chicken, rice noodle with grilled pork, snail, or dry noodle, sticky rice, along with various kinds of donut, steamed pancake or Vietnamese sandwiches. Until 9:00pm, you’ll be transferred to train station and take a night train to Sapa. Overnight on train

Pick up at the train station when you arrive and transfer to Sapa by a tourist shared bus. Early check in is possible when you arrive if the room is available otherwise we will provide you a basic room where you can have a shower. Start the trip at 9:30 as below. 12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. after lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Breakfast will be served at the homestay at about 8 am. Start trekking at 9:30 am 8 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through the bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa. Our driver will pick you up at the train station, check out the DAY-USE hotel, and have a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, our English-speaking guide and driver will pick up and transfer to Halong Bay. On the way, take the most scenic route to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can. On arrival, we embark a beautiful traditional junk and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. Experience to kayak on the gently water and admire crystal clear water with a thousand islands rising on the water with diversity of flora and fauna. In the evening when the boat is anchored in the middle of the stunning lagoon and the sun gradually goes down, we enjoy a mouthwatering seafood meal and participate in some shore excursion on boat. Wake-up at early and breathe the laidback – atmosphere on cruise, you’ll have a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck and enjoy the breakfast, you’ll have an amazing time exploring the stunning cave, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it’s clear sailing back to the harbor and back to Hanoi around 4:30 pm. We’ll drop you off at your hotel and enjoy the free time in Hanoi

OPTIONAL:

You will be picked up by an experienced English-speaking guide to Cu Chi Tunnels, located in the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City. The approximate travel time is one hour and 30 minutes. The residents of Cu Chi took the war underground into a highly developed network of tunnels that at its height stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens and triage areas. Imperceptible from the ground, opposing armies could roll their tanks over the bunkers without causing damage to the tunnels below. Living conditions were harsh – in addition to fighting the war, resident’s battled food and oxygen scarcity, venomous insects, and cramped living quarters. Gain important insight into the prolonged struggle against invading armies, and appreciation for the resilience and spirit of the Vietnamese people. After that, travelers can try the delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war. Return to your accommodation
